Katie Sammon is a litigation associate at Julian Heller and Associates. Katie represents clients in various types of disputes and appears regularly at Small Claims Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and administrative tribunals.
Katie received her BA in International Development Studies and History in 2010 and her JD in 2013, both from Dalhousie University. During university, Katie worked at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic, representing clients on criminal, housing and family law matters. She also worked as a legal intern with the Centre for Law and Democracy and took part in a legal internship in Cambodia.
Before joining Julian Heller and Associates, Katie completed articles at a prominent personal injury and insurance defence law firm in Toronto.
Katie was called to the Ontario Bar in 2014. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association. Katie is a volunteer lawyer with Pro Bono Law Ontario’s Education Law Project and with the Refugee Sponsorship Support Program.
